School Overview

Liberia International Christian College (LICC) is an interdenominational Christian college located on 24 acres of land in the city of Ganta, Nimba County, Liberia, West Africa. LICC provides a learning environment where students can experience the transforming power of God’s love, nurture hope, develop Christ-like character, and equip themselves to serve Christ’s Church worldwide.

Because of its small size and location, LICC is able to offer a breadth of opportunities which are uncommon among Christian colleges in Liberia; such as accessibility, affordable tuition and fees, and work study programs made available to deserving students. LICC provides a distinctive blend of exceptional academic and ministry opportunities and caring faculty in a Christian atmosphere emphasizing openness and a spirit of reconciliation.

During their years at LICC, students see evidence of the Christian faith through relationships that professors and other employees at the College form with them. While having high expectations for its students, the College believes it is also important to extend to them the dignity, respect, and affirmation they deserve as young men and women created in the image of God.

LICC started its full curriculum of classes March 2, 2009, and it offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Theology, Education, Business, and Agriculture. LICC is currently working with the Nursing Board to receive certification to offer Nursing degrees.

The LICC also offers short-term programs in computer skills and agriculture. The LICC also hopes to offer short-term programs in small business development and management, microfinance, community development, biblical counseling, secondary education, and nursing. This diverse program gives our students exposure to numerous areas of the arts and sciences and provides special enrichment and growth opportunities for those who show promise to become exceptional Christian pastors, community leaders and business leaders.

LICC is affiliated with the United Liberia Inland Church of Liberia, the United Liberia Inland Church Associates and Friends in America and various evangelical Churches and organizations.
